Trade shows and conventions
Since 2019, Obhéa Editions has been going out to meet players: a stand, a game table and discovery sessions to try our games. Here are the trade shows and conventions where we have been present, from the most recent to the oldest. Upcoming dates are announced in the events and the news.
Ludiverse 2026
Two discovery games were offered during the show: Grecka, on Saturday 18 April 2026 at 11:00 (a Bureau team investigates the disappearance of a group of young people in the forest), and Wallow Wide, on Sunday 19 April 2026 at 14:00.
Trolls & Légendes 2025, by Festival en Jeux (Mons, Belgium)
From 18 to 20 April 2025, Obhéa Editions had a stand at E07, opposite the role-playing tables. Six games were run to try Wallow Wide and Grecka: on 19 April at 13:00 and 16:00, and on 20 April at 10:00, for each of the two games. Seats were booked at the stand and through the organiser, Festival en Jeux (opens in a new tab).
Erudit·e·s & Dragons 2024 (Villetaneuse)
“Role-playing is 50 years old. So what are you doing now?” To mark the fiftieth anniversary of role-playing, Sorbonne Paris Nord University and La Rochelle University held a two-day conference on 21 and 22 June 2024. Alongside it, we organised the role-playing show Erudit·e·s & Dragons on the Villetaneuse campus, open on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 June from 9:00 to 19:00: a show to present role-playing as a whole, with exhibitors, demonstration areas and games. It was run by Obhéa Animation, an association then being set up.
2022: Octogônes, Utopiales and the Paris Games Show
- Octogônes (Lyon), 30 September to 2 October 2022: the Obhéa stand, and four games to try, with five sessions per game: IMPERIUM5 (“Droit à l’oubli”), Wallow Wide (the pilot episode, “a quiet little town”) and Grecka, the RPG (“À l’ombre d’Epidie”).
- Utopiales (Nantes), 29 October to 1 November 2022: Obhéa Editions was announced there among its autumn appointments.
- Salon du Jeu de Paris (Le Kremlin-Bicêtre), 26 and 27 November 2022: for the first edition of the show, with the Epitech games society and the organisers of the fantasy show; games of IMPERIUM5 and Grecka, the RPG.
2020: Cannes and Montpellier
- FIJ, International Games Festival (Cannes), 22 February 2020: invited by the GR.A.A.L association, Obhéa Editions presented IMPERIUM5 on its stand, with demonstration games. The first rules and setting booklets, in alpha version, were handed out there.
- Au-delà du Dragon (Montpellier), 28 March 2020: Obhéa Editions had announced it would be there to present IMPERIUM5.
Octogônes 2019 (Lyon)
Our first show, in October 2019: a stand and a game table at the back, entirely devoted to IMPERIUM5. About fifteen booklets of the alpha version of the rules were printed to gather feedback on the layout and the paper quality, along with banners, extruded-steel business cards and T-shirts. These were the first IMPERIUM5 players outside the usual circle. Thanks to MANACREATIVE for the layout, banners and cards, and to The Art of Naïky and Chris Cold for the illustrations.
