The publishing house
Founded in 2019, Obhéa Editions is a publishing house passionate about role-playing games and narrative board games. Our mission is to create immersive, captivating experiences that carry players into rich and fascinating worlds. Our signature: Multi-World, Multi-Imaginary.
Our story
Our first project, IMPERIUM5, plunges players into a science-fiction world where they rediscover their memories and explore a universe in the middle of a rebirth. Since then, we have built talented teams of authors, graphic designers, illustrators and proofreaders to bring our projects to life.
A few milestones
- 2019: Obhéa Editions is founded; the IMPERIUM5 alpha is shown to the public.
- 2021: the IMPERIUM5 kit is presented.
- 2022: discovery kits for Wallow Wide and Grecka, the RPG.
- 2023: IMPERIUM5 crowdfunding campaign on Game On Tabletop; Wallow Wide pilot book; Les Veilleuses booklet.
- 2023-2024: Vers Le Dernier Outrage: the Raptus Alpha, then Raptus Média, booklets.
- 2024: Bloody Christmas, for Wallow Wide.
- 2025: first scenario for Grecka, the RPG.
- 2026: Story Family Fantasy is presented at a convention.
- 2027: the year of Wallow Wide; second and third Grecka scenarios (planned).
- 2028: the year of Grecka (planned).
Our mission
At Obhéa Editions, we are committed to promoting role-playing games (RPGs) and making them accessible to a wide audience. We want to build playful bridges between the many worlds of the imagination and RPGs, so that everyone can dive into their own imagination.
We aim to attract and bring together fans of imaginative fiction, whether novels, comics, series, films or board games, and draw them towards role-playing.
Our games
IMPERIUM5
Our first project: a science-fiction role-playing game in which you play dark characters, aware of the dissonance of the world, who rediscover their memories and take part in the awakening of a universe being reborn. Its alpha was shown to the public in 2019, its kit in 2021, and the game was funded by a crowdfunding campaign on Game On Tabletop in 2023. The ReBuild Zero starter kit is available in the shop.
Wallow Wide
An offbeat crime series set in Fairmont County, Wyoming, played episode by episode, somewhere between American TV series and western. Discovery kit in 2022, pilot book in 2023, then Bloody Christmas in 2024: 2027 will be the year of Wallow Wide.
Lunes
A narrative card game that makes it easy to immerse yourself in a shamanic and mystical world while telling your own story of that world.
Grecka
The introductory role-playing game based on Lysiah Maro’s novel cycle, written in collaboration with the author: a planet opera in which you play agents of Bureau 9. Discovery kit in 2022, first scenario in 2025, two more in 2027: 2028 will be the year of Grecka.
Story Family Fantasy
A fantasy adventure to play as a family, with no preparation, presented at a convention in 2026.
Vers Le Dernier Outrage
A dark and cruel superhero horror game, released as discovery booklets: Raptus Alpha, then Raptus Média.
What comes next
Other projects derived from novel licences are in preparation, such as La Guilde des Ombres, with the publisher Plume Blanche.
A team of enthusiasts
Authors, graphic designers, illustrators and proofreaders: every game is the work of a team that shares the same wish, to tell stories and bring them to life around a table.
